Question How do I make a purchase?

Once you have found the item you want to purchase, click on the ‘ADD TO CART’ button on the product page. Review the items in your shopping bag by clicking the ‘SHOPPING CART’ link at the top of the page.

Click on ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’ to complete your order. Once you make a purchase, an invoice will be sent to your email.

Question Can I make a purchase without creating an account?

Yes, you can. But signing up with us will allow you to enjoy a range of benefits including:

  • Getting email alerts when we have sales
  • Having the option of saving your address and other preferences so you can make quick purchases next time
  • Adding to your shopping cart or liking an item and coming back to check-out later
Question What payment methods do you use and is it safe using my credit card to pay?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, COD and popular mobile wallets are acceptable methods of payment. We use a secure checkout system for all online payments; please ensure your details are entered correctly to avoid any delays to your order.

Question How much is your delivery fee and how long does it take?

Delivery charges will be added on to the total value of your order at checkout. You may track your order using the order tracking tab.


Delivery costs are calculated depending on your delivery address with a delivery time frame of 3 working days within Colombo and suburbs, and 5 working days to all other parts of the island unless otherwise specified.

If we determine that we will not be able to deliver an order within the promised timeframe, we will immediately contact you via email.

Question I’ve received damaged goods, ordered the wrong size or have a missing item, what do I do?

We apologize that your order did not meet your expectations. If you have received a damaged item, we are happy to facilitate an exchange for you. Please refer to the instructions below for returning an item. In the case of a missing item, kindly provide us with a copy of your invoice and the item code by emailing us at or via WhatsApp at +94 77 724 5996, and we will promptly address the issue.

Please note that we do not offer cash or online refunds. Instead, we offer the option to exchange the item for a product of equal value.

For payments made via card or mobile wallet transactions, we will process the exchange within 14 days of receiving the returned items. In the case of cash on delivery payments, our team will facilitate a bank transfer for the exchange within 14 days of receiving the returned items.

Exchanges are available for up to 14 days from the date you receive your order. After this 14-day period, we are unable to process any exchanges.

If the return is not due to an error on the part of Embark Shop, you will be responsible for covering all shipping and gift box expenses associated with the order, as well as any costs related to returning the item(s). We recommend using a reliable carrier with tracking capabilities for your return shipment. Additionally, it is advisable to insure the package, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all items arrive at the returns center in their original condition.

Please be aware that refunds will not be issued if the returned products have been damaged or altered in any way before reaching the Returns Center.

No exchanges will be possible after the 14-day return period has elapsed.
